Case Facts: On April 25, 1999, at the age of 25, Rose had a post-partum (after delivery) Pomeroy tubal ligation performed with 2 centimeters removed from each of her tubes. At the age of 28, Rose and her husband decided they wanted to have another baby. On July 29, 2002, Dr. Levin performed a bilateral microsurgical tubal anastomosis on Rose and her tube lengths were 8.0 cm on one side and 6.5 cm on the other side.

Where to begin? I have waited to write this thinking it would be easier to do. Maybe the words would come to me. Yet, I find it impossible to find words to express how I feel when I look at my son. The son I have because of Dr Levin and his wonderful work!

My story begins I guess in April of 1999. I had my tubal ligation after I delivered my daughter. I had delivered early for the second time. I had to do bed rest for 2 babies so I decided I would stop. I did not think I could do it again. I had always wanted 4 children, but did not think it would be possible for us.

Well, after our daughter was a few months old I knew it was the wrong thing to have done. Then, when she was a year old my husband was thinking it would have been nice to have one more too. I also started having trouble with my cycles and my skin was breaking out and no one could tell me why. I asked if it could be from the tubal and they assured me it was not possible. Soon I was on 5 different meds to try and keep me feeling ok, to make it through the cramps each month. We tried everything to find out what was causing it. Finally in March 2002 my husband said enough. We had been reading up on tubals and on reversals and it sounded like it could be the answer for us. By this time our daughter was about to turn 3 years old. We found Dr Levin's website and knew we had found our doctor. We drove to KY 29 July 2002. I could not have been happier with the people. I met my buddy there and Dennis and I looked around the day before surgery. The morning or surgery finally came and I was nervous. Dr Levin came in and talked to me before surgery. And the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. They said everything went great! I went back to the Inn and stayed 2 days. Then we headed back to Minnesota.

Dr Levin had me e-mail him once a week to let him know how we were doing. I felt great! With in that month my face cleared and when I got my first cycle I was amazed no cramps! I no longer had to take any meds for anything! I had the reversal hoping for some relief. That I was feeling better then I had in years was more then I could have asked for! Dennis and I decided we would let nature take care of itself. If we were blessed with a pregnancy great! If not we were thankful for all we got out of our reversal! On 25 October 2002 I took a pregnancy test. And to my amazement it was positive! I e-mailed Dr Levin and right away he sent in for me to get my blood work done. He even sent me notes while on vacation in Florida. At 6 weeks 2 days into the pregnancy I went in and had an ultrasound, and there before me was a tiny baby with a beating heart. My OB warned me we could be in for another early delivery so we took care. To everyone's shock I delivered my son Matthew Tyler at 38 weeks 4 days! With no trouble ahead of time! He weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches long. Perfect in everyway possible! I still cry when I look at him and wonder how I could be so blessed. But with the help of Dr Levin how could I doubt I would be! We chose the name Matthew as it means gift from God. And he is our gift and no matter how many words I write I could never thank Dr Levin enough for giving me back my health and allowing us to have our son.

Thank you for everything!
