My name is Amy Dover from Missouri My husband and I were married a few years ago. I came into the marriage with two teenage children of my own but my husband had never had any children. We desperately wanted a baby but my tubes had been tied, cut, and burnt, over twenty years ago after the birth of my second child. I really believed that with the tubal ligation being performed so long ago that there was no way that we would ever be able to have a baby.
I went on the internet and found a lot of good reviews about Dr. Levin so we decided that we would give it a try. I was 39 years old, going to turn 40 later that year so I truly believed that this was a long shot.
We traveled to KY in April of 2014, where we were treated very well in the hotel. This surprised us. I was completely ready to be herded like cattle throughout this surgery and experience altogether but I was so wrong! The staff at the hotel were beyond great with us. When I arrived that morning at the hospital for the surgery I was shaking from being terrified of the surgery and Dr. Levin as well as his nurses were so great with me.
When I awoke we were told that the surgery had went well and was sent back to the hotel. Dr. Levin and a nurse came the next morning to check on me and explained how well the surgery had went. My husband and I were so excited!
After I got back home the healing process began and it was not bad at all… I was actually back at work as a teacher on Monday morning after having the surgery the Thursday before. I went to my local doctor and started the process of trying to conceive once my 6 weeks were up.
We started trying in June of 2014 and by Feb 4th of 2015 I had my first positive pregnancy test! On Oct. 5th of 2015 our daughter was born We are so thankful for taking the chance on Dr. Levin and his staff. I am turning 42 in Dec of this year and we are considering a second child so we will see what the future holds I guess.
Thank you Dr Levin and staff!! Without you we would not be parents to baby Cara
