Dear: Dr. Levin, We are writing you this letter to give you the most sincere thank you. This letter is long overdue. In April 2010 we decided that we were going to get my wifeís tubes reversed and begin the life changing process. Us like so many others knew this was a very serious process where we wanted to pick the correct doctor to perform the surgery. My wife who is in the medical field performed a lot of extensive research. Dr. Levin was the only person that we felt comfortable performing this procedure.
In August 2010 we drove from Atlanta to Louisville to have the procedure done. As I sat in the waiting area while my wife is in surgery I can only pray that everything goes good. About 2 hours later Dr. Levin comes out and sits down with me. He said surgery went well and she is recovering now, EXCEPT that he couldnít attach both tubes. One of her tubes was diseased and could not be attached. So we were left with just one tube attached. We were both worried and excited. What if the other tube doesnít work?
In November 2010 we got pregnant for the first time. We were so excited. Wow that was fast, pregnant on our first month trying. We knew we had made the right decision choosing Dr. Levin. However about a week later things went bad and she had a miscarriage. After this happened we told Dr. Levin about it. He was very concerned and felt that we were a high risk pregnancy. My wife was 35 at the time.
He did not have to do any of the following but what he did changed our lives forever. He then said Iím going to help you out. He then put her on a temperature monitoring program and ovulation software to help track her ovulation schedule. After 4 months we got pregnant again. Again he could have washed his hands and said he was done with what we paid him for. But not Dr. Levin, he then scheduled her labs twice a week for several weeks. He would get the blood tests and call or email my wife every time. He put her on high dosage of progesterone. He followed it through until she was about 12 weeks pregnant. We couldnít believe that Dr. Levin would do this on his own time, and treated my wife like family.
On January 22, 2012 our daughter (Morgan Mckinley Harrison) was born healthy at 9lbs 9oz. We were so happy. My wife had her tubes tied for over 15 years.
After 7 months, we were surprisingly blessed again. On May 8, 2013 we were blessed with the birth of our first son (Parker Riley Harrison) weighing 8lbs 6oz . Attached are some photos we would like to share. Sorry for the lengthy email but we have been meaning to send this for a while. With two kids under 2 free time is hard to come by.
We both wanted to give you the most sincere thank you for all you have done to bless us with two wonderful healthy children.
Regards, Scott & Tabitha Harrison
