Here is my long overdue testimonial. It probably sounds about like most other TR success stories, but with an added bonus! I had two children with my first husband who was a little less than thrilled about having them since he already had 2 by his first wife. However, I loved my new role of being a mommy to my sons, but didn't want to push for mor children, so had a tubal ligation just after my 29th birthday. I still remember how sad I was on the way to the hospital thinking about the daughter I'll never have (I come from a family of 5 brothers and no sisters). I also remember the horrible pain (physical and mental) when I woke up from that surgery.

Jump ahead five years...I had divorced and was a very busy single mom when I met my current husband. We met online in October 2003, and wow, did things move really fast from there! We started talking marriage, and he made it known right away that he wanted us to have a baby together. I kept telling him that I didn't know if it was even possible. When I asked my OB/GYN (the one who performed my tubal ligation) about getting a tubal reversal he said that it would cost at least $10,000, and there was no guarantee that it would work. So we went online not even knowing what we were looking for, and ta-da there was www.babies-by-levin. We did some research on a few others, but kept coming back to Dr. Levin's website. I remember telling my husband that if we're serious about this, something needs done now, because I am getting too old to have babies.

That seems so funny to me now. I called Dr. Levin's office, and got the ball rolling. Dr. Levin went over my medical records, and said everything looked good to go. We wasted no time, and paid up front with a credit card, and our surgery was in March 2004. We were so lucky to live only 2 1/2 hours from Louisville.

Everything went just as planned, except I had a little trouble "coming to" after the surgery. The only thing I really remember is Dr. Levin saying I have a 90% chance of conceiving within one year! Wonderful news! I loved that he kept tabs on me even after I was sent home. Hubby and I started trying just as soon as I was cleared. Just a few months later I was pregnant, and in May 2005, via c-section, I delivered Sofia Oceanna Clotilde, the most beautiful baby girl!

We were so happy and content with our new addition. Our family was complete! Well, not really. In March 2010 my period was late, and oops, I was pregnant! I was 41 years old, and honestly didn't know to feel about it. But quickly fell in love with the idea of having another sweet little baby. Sadly, at 8 weeks I started bleeding, and found out the baby had stopped growing at 7 weeks. We were absolutely devastated!

Right away we began trying to get pregnant again. Months went by and nothing, and with my age, the pressure was really on. I asked my OB for help, and he prescribed Clomid. On the fifth Clomid assisted cycle we did IUI, and it worked!

God answered our prayers. On November 7th 2011 our perfect baby boy, Lorenzo Phoenix joined our family. I was 43 by then.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Levin!!! I would, and do recommend you to anyone interested in having her tubes repaired.

Deanna and Gino Leveroni
P.S. For the record...my last pregnancy was my easiest, probably because I take so much better care of myself than I did in my 20s.
