I just wanted to take the time out and update everyone on my success story. I don’t know the exact date that my tubes were tied, but I had them cut and burnt. I got pregnant with my 1st daughter at the age of 15 and at the time thought I was in “puppy” love. Boy was I wrong. He stopped talking to me almost immediately after he found out that I was pregnant. I don’t believe in abortion so I decided to have my daughter and raise her to the best of my ability. I had a lot of help and support from my mother and father.
I met another man when she was 6 months old and he stepped in and took care of her. When I was 24 I got pregnant again, and although our relationship was already rocky I thought having a baby would fix it. I was wrong again! I decided at that time to have my tubes tied and thought I never wanted any more kids.
I was content with this decision until I met my husband. He only had 1 daughter that lived in Georgia and he doesn’t get to see her that often. We went back and forth about it awhile and I thought I had won that fight. We got married on 08-08-08 and I thought everything was fine, until we were driving back from Georgia and he told me he wants his own biological child that lives with him full time. I said ok and called Dr. Levin right then. My friend had done a lot of research and was going to go to Dr. Levin but then decided on adoption so she had already given me all of his information.
I made the appoint for September 3,2010. After Dr. Levin reviewed my records he said there was no record of how much tubes were left so he couldn’t make any guarantees. I admit I was a little discouraged, but decided to go through with it anyway. We took off the whole day before our appointment and took our time getting to the hotel, which was nice to enjoy some alone time with the Mr. ? We arrived at the hotel and just relaxed until the next morning.
I woke up very nervous but excited at the same time. We went to the hospital where I met him and his staff and they made me feel very comfortable. After the surgery I was pretty much out of it, but my husband told me that Dr. Levin said the surgery went well and it was actually the best one of the day. I was excited about that news! The next morning I was in a lot of pain but Dr. Levin and Venica came over and checked me out and said everything was fine. We drove back to Ohio and I was off for a week. I had a bad bruise around the incision so I emailed Dr. Levin a picture of it and he called me right back @ 7o’clock at night and told me everything was fine.
We waited 4 weeks and couldn’t wait any longer. I didn’t get pregnant that month so I was afraid we messed something up and I called the office and was told to wait until it was 6 months later. I was taking ovulation tests and charting my temperature and everything. I started to get stressed out about it so in December I decided not to do anything.
My husband’s birthday is on January 8th and he was going to Miami for his birthday so I decided to take a test before he left and it was POSITIVE! I couldn’t believe it so I took 2 more and they were all positive. I contacted my OB/GYN and made an appointment. I went and they said yes you are 4 weeks pregnant come back when you are 6 weeks. I contacted Dr. Levin and ordered tests for me. After he got the results he called me and said that I needed to be on Prometrium. He called it in and I began taking it right away. If it wouldn’t have caught this and put me on the medicine my baby would not have made it.
I delivered a healthy baby girl almost 1 year to the day of my surgery. My water broke while I was at work on September 1, 2011 @ 12:45pm, I left work went to the gas station and then drove myself to the hospital. I started having contractions around 3:30 and she was born @ 5:57pm. We named her Destinee Blue because it was our destiny to have a child together.
I can’t thank Dr. Levin and his staff enough for the joy he has given us. My other girls just love her and my husband ADORES her. She is our sunshine! We are so thankful that we were given this opportunity to have a baby together.
I have a friend who had her tubes un-tied from another doctor almost 3 years ago and she still is not pregnant. Dr. Levin is by far the best Dr. around. He truly cares about his patients!!!!! I have attached pictures of Baby B.
Thank you so much!

Hello, I am writing to let Dr. Levin and his staff know that we have been blessed with another miracle baby by Levin. :-) I had my tubes untied on September 03,2010 and had our daughter Destinee Blue -September 1, 2011 which my husband and I were truly grateful for. I was done! I promised my husband 1 baby and he had his baby girl so he was happy. Since I had already had my tubes tied and reversed he agreed to have a vasectomy so we had out appointment scheduled and was ready to go.
I started feeling a little sick like I had the flu so I went to the doctor only to find out that I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was shocked and nervous. What was I going to do with another baby so quick! My husband was over the moon happy and didn't care that our daughter was only 13 months. So we started the journey again. We were hoping it was a boy, and at my 20 week ultrasound we were happy to find out IT WAS A BOY!!!! And after a pretty good pregnancy I delivered a healthy baby -Donald Jackson Jr. on July 5,2013. Just 2 months shy of our daughter turning 2. We now have a boy and a girl together. I think this was always God's plan but it wouldn't have been possible without Dr. Levin.
People ask us why we went so far to have the surgery done and all we do is point at our children. They speak for themselves. Dr. Levin is the best and I will tell everyone that asks me if they are looking to have this done, there is NO other Dr.to go to. I know he is busy making more dreams come true but I wanted to take this time and thank him for the miracle babies he gave my husband and I we are forever grateful!
He is the best!!!!!!!!
