My name is Shannon, and I came to Dr. Levin having had a tubal ligation five years previous. I regretted the ligation surgery from the day I had it. The year after my tubal ligation, I went to my OB/GYN and asked her about reversals and I gave her the name of Dr.Levin. She checked on him for me and gave me the go ahead.

But life had other plans. It seems that the right time was elusive. My husband and I moved and life was hectic. Then my first husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. Of course, now a reversal was a moot point.

However, as I mourned the loss of my husband, a friend and I became closer and in time, we were married. He wanted to have more children so again, I looked up Dr. Levin. We scheduled a time and went for the surgery.

The hospital and staff were all so nice. Dr.Levin himself was very friendly. The arrangements of staying in a hotel room nearby helped to make the recovery easier. The only concerning part was after surgery when I was told that one of my tubes had been badly damaged in the ligation. Dr.Levin had worked to repair it. When Dr. Levin came for our post-surgery check, he informed me of the condition and the complication. He told me that it would decrease my chance of pregnancy. So we were a little saddened as we headed home. We tried to conceive, I had two miscarriages and with each month that passed unsuccessfully, I found myself growing depressed. I thought that we would not be blessed with another child.

In due time, I did conceive and gave birth to a very healthy, beautiful baby boy. If anything, the time and sorrow of trying to conceive only made me treasure the little blessing more upon arrival.

I would recommend Dr. Levin to anyone. I was pleased with his professionalism and bedside manner. In a day when doctors can be austere and stand off-ish he is a refreshing contrast. His staff was always helpful and pleasant. I am so thankful that I found him and that he was able to successfully repair my botched tubal ligation enabling us to have the great gift of a child.
