My story starts out like many of other women. I was very blessed by the fact that I could easily have children. My husband and I married young and had three awesome boys by the age of 23. As you can imagine we got a lot slack for this from friends and family. All the comments were really getting to me,"don't you know what causes that?" was one we heard a lot. When I got pregnant again at 25 we started thinking maybe everyone was right we needed to stop.

In 2003 we had our first daughter. We were so excited! I knew it was time to get my tubes tied. I had problems during delivery and had to have a c-section. After the delivery I had my tubal, three boys and a girl I was happy. That didn't last long. Our little girl Tesla was sick. Due to problems during the last weeks in the pregnancy that were unknown she had a bowel movement before she was born. Tesla died the day after she was born. We were devastated.

Several months later I dove into trying to have another baby. I was very determined. Not only did I want to have another baby I wanted another girl. So, I thought the best way to do that was to do sperm sorting and IVF. And that's what we did. My husband cashed in his 401k to pay for all of it. The IVF doctor told me it was our safest bet to do IVF instead of the reversal. He said beings I have had no problems conceiving this should go well for us.

Well, it didn't 2 attempts, $30,000 and lots of tears later we had no baby. The dr said if we wanted to try again we should use donor eggs. I thought are you kidding me I am 26 years old I have to have good eggs left. I was done with IVF and that doctor. I was not done trying to have another baby!

That was when I found Dr.Levin on the internet. I talked to him and he agreed with me that I was young and still had good eggs. He gave me hope and I could really talk to him easily. I thought he was so funny. In 2006 I drove 16 hours with my husband to Louisville for my surgery. The entire experience was great! We made a mini vacation out of it. The surgery went well I felt very at ease and Dr. Levin still was making me laugh.

Before he sent me home he said I had a good chance of having a baby. After the 6 week wait we tried and tried to get pregnant. Nothing was happening and I was getting discouraged. From all the reading I had done prior to the reversal I had a mind set that if it didn't happen in the first year it would not happen at all. So I called Dr. Levin and he put me on clomid. Another year passed and I was sure I was never going to have another baby. We started talking about going back to Louisville to see if the tubes were still open. But I got pregnant. Only to miscarriage a few days later.

I had to stop I needed a break and so did my husband. I went off the clomid. A few months later I decided I am not getting any younger I need to give it one last try. I went back on the clomid and 2 months later the day after Christmas I found out I was having a baby! Two months after that the day after my birthday I found out ITS A GIRL!! And then 2 weeks after my husbands birthday we had our beautiful, completely HEALTHY, daughter Allissa. She is the most precious baby.

I can't tell you how much she means to our family. Dr. Levin you gave us the most wonderful gift. We will never be able to thank you enough! Huge Giant hugs right back at ya!!!!! Don't give up ladies. If you give up you will never get your miracle! I got mine!!!!! And isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
