Case Facts: Johnna had a repeat C-section with a bilateral tubal ligation (Pomeroy) performed on 7/6/1994. No pathology report was available as it had been so long since that surgery was done. On 8/27/2007, Dr. Levin performed a bilateral microsurgical tubal ligation reversal on Johnna and her right tube measured 8.5 cm, while her left tube measured only 3.0 cm. Within about 3 months Johnna was pregnant.

I want to take this time and thank you and your staff. You have given my husband and me our little miracle. Well, here is my testimonial. My story goes like this.
I was married for 9 years and during that time I had two wonderful boys. I was married to a very good man, but an very sick man. July 6th 1994, I gave birth to a son via c -section. We had decided to have my tubes tied at the time of my section. I had a promeroy tubal done. We did this because the boy's father had a heart condition. That following September he had a heart transplant and he lived for 6 1/2 yrs. He died in 2001.
Having another child never crossed my mind again until I meet Hallvar Skaten from Norway on the Internet. We talked for months and then he asked to come for a visit. He crossed the big blue pond and the first meeting was like we had know each other for years. He went back home to Norway and in 2 weeks He was back again and asked me to marry him. We married April 12th 2003.
We started to talk about having kids, so I began looking into having a tubal reversal, but my local OB/GYN told me it would be better for us to have in-vitro done. We went and talked to the physician and I was told that I really needed to loss weight and of course the thoughts of multiples scared me. We opted not to pursue this any further.
As the years went by I felt the need for another child, so I got on the Internet and there he was, Dr. Levin. I started all the paperwork and got the money and before I knew it I was scheduled to have my surgery. My husband and I flew to Louisville, KY on August 26th,2007. I had my surgery on the 27th and we had to wait 6 weeks. We started as soon as we could, before my husband left for work on a cargo ship. He was working 4 months out and 4 months in, so we tried alot... ha! ha! In November I decided to take a home pregnancy test and when I did it showed nothing at first. About a couple hours later I looked at the test again and there it was a very faint pink line, the next morning I had my blood drawn at the clinic I work at and it came back positive. I was just a few days pregnant.
My husband called and I gave him the news and he cried, he was finally going to be a father, now he is a great dad to my boys, but he was going to have a child of his own. Well, before we knew it July rolled around and we now have a wonderful baby boy. Hans Gunnar Moellerup Skaten was born July 7th 2008 3 weeks early. He weighted 8 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. He was born the day after his big brother Brentons 14th birthday. He also has a 16 year old Brother Dylan. They are really enjoying this little man.
Thanks to God above and Dr. Levin we have a precious gift. Again Thank you.
