Dr. Levin, my name is Christy Hill and you performed my Tubal Reversal on March 8, 2007. I can't tell you enough! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I am so glad I ran into you at Jewish Hospital today to be able to give you a hug and let you see our little miracle in person! Thats definately what she was; Our little Miracle baby!! When I first came to you I was already fortunate enough to have had 2 boys who are now 11 and 9. But I had also just gotten remarried on March 31, 2006 and my new husband being 5 years older than me had no kids of his own. You being a parent yourself know what a blessing and how precious your own children are. I know my husband loves my boys dearly but I know from helping my friends with their babies before I had any of my own and loving them the way I did know that its not the same as the love you carry for your own children, and knowing that I couldn't deny him the chance of experiencing that hisself.
So even before we started looking for a doctor to perform the tubal reversal we were just discussing our options and of course my Mom being the proud Grandmother that she is and wanting more Grandchildren; took it upon herself to start consulting her doctors ( be it many) to see who they would recommend. Trust me when I tell you she not only talked to them but anyone that would listen or might know a thing or two about it she would ask them who they recommended. Then of course my husband and I done our own research as well and EVERYONE that any of us talked to on both sides of the bridge recommended you.
So I called your office and set up the appointment to come in for the consult. Now we are not rich people and really didn't have the money to have the surgery. But, we had our minds made up and we wanted a baby together more then anything. So we had an aggreement! If when we filed our taxes if we got enough back then we would use it to pay for the surgery. We went to H & R Block and filed and you can't tell me this surgery was not meant to be. That we were not meant to have a baby together. We needed $6200 for the surgery and we got back $6272 on our taxes. God truly does answer prayers! I will never believe that our child was not meant to be.
I found out I was pregnant in March of 2008 and our Little Makayla Darlene was born on November 13, 2008 weighing 5lbs 1 1/2 ounces & was 18 1/2 inches long. She truly is our Little Miracle Baby! I had several complications during my pregnancy which caused her to be born 3 1/2 weeks early and have had some complications since having her but NONE of it was due to the reversal it was due to my own health issues. But you know what she was worth everything I had to go thru to get her. I wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world!! We all love her so much and we owe it all to God and You! So Thank You Dr. Levin for helping us to get our Little Miracle.
