We would like to share our story of how Dr. Levin helped to change our lives.
In 1996, our son was 3 and I decided to have my tubes tied. One day in August 2002 I had what seemed to be a miscarriage and severe pain in my right side. The emergency room doctors could not confirm what had happened to me and sent me to see a gynecologist. This doctor felt it must be endometriosis and scheduled me for surgery, only to discover that I showed no signs of it. This began a long and frustrating journey through the medical system. I saw doctors in every specialty and not one could solve the mystery of what had happen and why I still had debilitating pain. By September 2003 I couldn't work anymore because the pain in my side would get so bad I couldn't walk. My husband and son pushed me in a wheelchair when we went to the mall. It was terrible and what was worse than the pain was the fact that my doctors decided that it must be a psychological problem.
That was when I decided to take alternative advice and went to see a hypnotist. The idea was to scan my body and ask my body what needed to be healed while I was under hypnosis. It was bizarre, but when I did, I could see a clear picture of my fallopian tubes and that a baby kept trying to come through them! When I went home, I researched pelvic pain and tubal ligation on the internet and found that some women developed scar tissue that would entrap the nerves and cause pain. I felt that this was the answer. I was sure that I needed to reverse my tubal ligation and the pain would be gone. When I found Dr. Levin, I knew I had my answer.
In May 2004, we traveled to Louisville for my surgery and after the soreness subsided, I found that I was PAIN FREE! The most incredible part of the whole story is that on July 2, 2004 we discovered that we were pregnant! We are the proud and lucky parents of a little angel, Tayte Jensen Motz. Born on March 1, 2005, she has brought so much joy and is a constant reminder of how beautiful life is and we are so thankful to have her in it!
Warm wishes of Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa to Dr. Levin, Ms. Dizney and Staff.
