After what turned out to be a horrible "11 year too long" marriage to a not so nice person, I finally divorced and found myself single again in early 1999. I knew the first year into this marriage after my second son was born that I didn't want anymore children with this man, so i had a tubal ligation. Two weeks into being single I met the man that is now my husband. A wonderful friendship started and here we are. We'll be celebrating our second wedding anniversary on August 25th. However, right now we are celebrating the birth of our first child together (my 3rd) our son Gabriel.

About 6 months into our marriage we started discussing the idea of having a baby. My husband (now 32) had never been married and didn't have any children of his own. I (now 34) however had 2 boys already Michael 16 (17 now) and Blake 12 (13 now). Matt (my husband) said he was fine raising these boys, and he felt as if they were his own and he wasn't missing anything. I knew better. I knew that a man this wonderful deserved to have a child of his own, especially since he was so good to mine. So the quest began.

I started my research in the Portand Or area close to where I live, the prices were between $10,000 and $15,000. WOW! I was very discouraged. Then I started on-line and low and behold I found Dr Levin. I did my homework contacted him, received the information, and sat on it a few months. We decided this is what we wanted, found myself a buddy from San Diego and saved myself $500, and did it.

I was scared and unsure that this was going to work for me. I mean how could it right? How could it be possible that I now have the man who is perfect for me and be able to give him the child he truly deserves. I'm just not that lucky, or haven't been until now. So to make a long story short. I had the reversal in late September and was pregnant by the end of October we think. Our baby was delivered via a planned c-section on July 3rd because our dates didn't match his size, which leads my Dr to believe that I was probably pregnant within a week or two after my reversal. Don't tell Dr Levin that though, he told me to wait about a month if I recall, since one of my tubes had to be reconnected really close to the ovary, but I didn't. I couldn't wait, I wanted this baby so bad that I cheated and did it as soon as I got back from KY. Sorry Doc, but I had faith in your work. You did a great job and Gabriel is here to prove it. He turned 4 weeks old yesterday.

To you and your staff, thank you so much for everything. The procedure being so affordable and having so many ways to make it available to us helped make our dream come true. Gabriel, is the sweetest baby, and myself being older now I really appreciate so much more then I was able to by having children when was 17 and again at 21. My family is complete, well maybe not yet. We still might try for that girl, who knows. My older boys adore the baby and Matt and I adore them all. Thanks for everything.
