Hi. My name is Amy. My husband and I traveled to Kentucky in October of 2007 and had a tubal reversal. I had had my tubes tied for almost thirteen years. My husband did not have any children of his own and I wanted more than anything to give him that. I was thirty-two years old at the time of my (reversal) surgery.
We had a few obstacles along the way during this great adventure of trying to have our new bundly of joy. Anything that could have happened did! I was even used as a case study for a nearby college. You see; I had female problems I never knew I had until I was trying to get pregnant. I won't get into all that.
Dr. Levin did a wonderful job on my reversal. When he did get in there to tie them back together he noticed that they had originally been cut shorter than what the doctor's report said. Dr. Levin was not skeptical. He had no doubts. I have to say that I was starting to give up. It had been two years of trying and I had had enough!
Then in January of 2010 we got the news. It was great. We were finally pregnant and it was lasting this time. I was put on bed rest and was cautious. Lillian Grace was born November 2, 2010 almost 3 years from the original date of my reversal.
I recommend it to anyone who has changed their minds about having children. I have no side affects and I have never felt better. We love our baby girl and would not change anything for a second. We have friends right now who are saving to go see Dr. Levin. Everyone here just loves hearing our story and we love to tell it. We call her our miracle baby and she is our little Lily!
Thank you Dr. Levin. I will never know how to thank you enough!
