Case Facts: On 4/24/1992, Donna had a repeat Cesarean-Section and a bilateral partial salpingectomy performed with removal of 2.5 cm of tube from each side. Seventeen years later, Dr. Richard Levin performed a bilateral microsurigical tubal ligation reversal on Donna leaving her with tube lengths of 2.5 cm on the right and 4.5 cm on the left. I'm Donna Martin from Illinois. I had a Pomeroy performed April of 1992 after my 2nd child. Typical bad relationship, not wanting anymore babies by him. Only 20 yrs old at the time. got divorced, moved away. Came back and ended up connecting with my now husband and love of my life Shane. We decided after many, many hours of talking and months of researching that Dr. Levin would be the perfect Reversal Dr. for us to perform our reversal. After my tubes were tied for 17 years, we filed our taxes, got back $6,400. We knew right then and there it was without a doubt meant to be from God. So we paid our $6,200. Set our date for March 30, 09. We were so very nervous. More so my husband than I. Let me tell you ladies...My husband became calm and at ease as soon as he met and got to talk with Dr. Levin. Everything was right as it should be. Dr. Levin told us there is normally 7~13cm of tubes for each side. Both my tubes were a mess, but Dr. Levin was able to save 2.5 and 4.5 of my tubes. As i had stated before, I had the Pomeroy which from what i understand is pretty common. To know that he was able to save them and i would be whole again is Priceless to me. Not knowing if i was able to have a baby. I was perfectly happy knowing that my body would be right again. Now remember me saying that we had my reversal in March of 09. We started temping and counting days towards trying. We became kinda frustrated with it because it seemed to become more of a chore than anything, lolz. So we decided to stop trying. That if God wants us to become pregnant, he will bless us and it will only be on his time, not ours. I still kept the faith, knowing that my little miracle was up there looking down at us just waiting for God to tell him or her "ok, its your turn". Well? October of 09, we came up pregnant. I couldn't believe it. After not being pregnant for 18 long years we have a miracle growing inside me. How amazingly wonderful was that to experience again. The craving that all of us TR sisters dream of. We gave birth to our Daughter Jenna Nicole Martin on July 14, 2010. Weighing in at 7lbs 9oz and 18 inches long. She is now 6 months old. sitting in her walker playing on her little vtech computer looking up at me smiling and jabbering. She is the most amazing gift that was given to us. She's grown way too fast and her hair is growing too slow, lolz. but thats ok. Shes the perfect mixture of her father and I. To all the women out there considering a reversal? Please remember that I had my ligation for 17 years and and quickly after i am sitting here watching my miracle grow right before my eyes. I know that each one of our bodies are different, but with Dr. Levin and his pure talent and God given GIFT with God by his side as well as Venica's you have a greater chance to have your little Angel laying in your arms, plus?
