Dr. Levin, I wanted to share the wondeful news of our new blessing, Tyler Steven Dub who was born December 21, 2009.
I had a Pomeroy method tubal in 2001 after my fifth child and found myself engaged to a man with no children 7 years later so we started looking into possibilities. We decided to try a tubal reversal even though I was 38. We chose Dr. Levin because he had so much experience and his success rates were the highest.
I had my surgery August 28, 2008. We became pregnant in December of 2008 but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but we weren't giving up hope. I became pregnant again in January of 2009 only to find out at my first OB appointment in February that it was an ectopic pregnancy that was so far along they had to remove my left tube.
We knew getting pregnant would take longer with only one tube but I became pregnant again in March and was so relieved when I had my first OB appointment that everything looked good. We were so excited only to experience tradgedy when I was 10 weeks along. My oldest daughter, Shaundra, died in an automobile accident.
We didn't know if I could carry a baby through all the stress so we didn't share our news until I was 5 months along. We made it to full term and brought home our beautiful little boy Christmas Eve.
Dr. Levin and his staff were always professional and very kind through the process of getting information to the aftercare they provide. I would like to thank Dr. Levin and his staff because of you we have a new blessing that was so very needed by our family.
Our new blessing reminds us how prescious life is especially after losing a child.
Thank you!
Love,
Steve and Deborah Dub (Mlekoday)
