Dear Dr. Levin: We just wanted to thank you for all that you have done for our family. Our daughter Mackenzie Catherine arrived on June 4, 2007. We are so thankful to you and your staff for the gift you have given us. God Bless all of you. I had a Pomeroy tubal ligation after the birth of my 2nd daughter on July 22, 199l. I was 22 years old at the time and going through a divorce. I had some regrets but nothing like the regret I had when I met the man I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with. In August of 2005 we contacted Dr. Levin about a tubal reversal. After reviewing my surgical report and health history we had a phone consultation. Dr. Levin gave us around a 75% chance of conceiving. We paid the fee for the surgery the next day and scheduled for January 30, 2006, three weeks prior of our wedding. In January because of a death in our family my husband to be could not come with me and I had to travel from Iowa to Kentucky by myself. After my surgery Dr. Levin's daughter was kind enough to stay with me at the Inn and make sure I was well taken care of. She made sure I had everything I needed and arranged for me to have a wheel chair and transportation to the airport. Dr. Levin met with me the morning I left and gave me the news that my lengths were pretty good and that everything went well. He actually gave me a better chance of conceiving more like 80 to 85%. Because of shorter tube lengths he used some clips and asked us to wait 6 weeks before trying to conceive. We were married 3 weeks later and we took his advice and waited the full 6 weeks. We got pregnant in May of 2006. Unfortunately our first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. In October of 2006 I got a positive test again and Dr. Levin put me on Progesterone right away. It must have done the trick. We had a great pregnancy. We will be trying soon for our number 2 reversal baby. There is no way for us to thank you enough for our daughter Mackenzie. She is a joy.
