My story is probably like a lot others, I married young and had both my children young. I had my tubes tied when I was 21! I just couldn't imagine bringing another child into my failing marriage. So I divorced when I was 22 and vowed never to get married again. But my life changed a year later when I met the love of my life, Mauricio. We meet in 1998 at work. We started hanging out and eventually we got married.
He knew that I couldn't have children, and he still decided he wanted to be with me. Well I knew that I couldn't just let the wonderful loving man not have a child, so that is when I started doing research online. I came across a lot of doctors, some who did the operation for less and some who were way more money, but the reason I chose Dr. Levin is because I sent a message to him and he called me the same day! We talked and he said he would be able to help me. Well that was in 2004.
A year later we finally had our finances together and I called a scheduled my operation. In March of 2005 my husband and I drove to Kentucky from Colorado, a long trip but well worth it. After my operation Dr. Levin informed me that my doctor had not left me with a lot of tube. I was only left with 3cm on the left side and 4cm on the right side. He said I still had about a 70% chance of conceiving. Well personally I was devastated. I know Dr. Levin did what he could but I didn't think my tubes would be long enough.
Well after 7 months of trying I gave up! I accepted the fact I couldn't get pregnant, and 2 months later, the day after Thanksgiving I got my first positive pregnancy test. I was stunned to say the least. Well 9 months later Abigail Berenice came into our lives and they will never be the same again. She is such a beautiful baby and looks so much like her daddy. Just to be able to see the love in my husbands eyes when he looks a his daughter is priceless.
Dr. Levin truly is a miracle worker. Thank you all for the bottom of my heart
