Case Facts: Elizabeth had her tubal sterilization May 9, 2002. The doctor performed a three burn technique of each tube. On October 3, 2005, at the age of 32, Elizabeth had Dr. Levin perform microsurgical tubal anastomosis. She had a total of 5.5 cm of tube on her left side, but the right tube was completely absent. Dr Levin,
I am writing to share with you our great success story. My husband and I were married May 1, 2004. I had 2 children and had a the tubal ligation surgery one year before we were married, never dreaming that I would desire to have any more children. David married me knowing that we would never have our own children. He adopted mine and loved them as his own. Last year we decided that we would like to have one more child. I searched long and hard to find a doctor that appealed to both of us. After a lot of praying and searching we found you. After the fertility tests done on my husband, we were disappointed to find out that there could be a chance that he could not father a child. The doctor that we consulted stated that there would be a slight chance and that we could always go through some fertility procedures. We decided that we wanted to try even if there was only a slight chance. If the Lord willed us to have a baby, it would happen. One year ago, October 3rd, 2005 we had our tubal reversal surgery. Today, October 3rd, 2006 we are blessed to have a beautiful baby girl, Alma Marie, born June 26th, 2006. She is a very healthy, very happy 3 month old baby! Math wasn't ever my best subject, but if you do the math, I believe we have a miracle baby! Thanks to you, we have been blessed with this wonderful gift from God! Words cannot express what your talent means to us. We are thankful that the Lord has given you the talent to touch people's lives in the ways that you do.
