MIRACLE
Where does one begin.?
This is a journey of love and loss and a true miracle named Jackson Paul Knight Jones.
I first sent Dr. Levin an email on February 10th, 1999- the day my son Zackary Shane died of SIDS, he was 59 days old.
I thought I was done- with the babies, my oldest daughter was 11 and my youngest was 5. I now had my son and my family was complete. I had a tubal ligation after my C-section, little did I know that my life was about to change.
After Zacks death, that day actually, I emailed Dr. Levin, about two hours after I got home from the hospital after they told me Zack had died.
I told him I wanted another baby and could he please "fix" me. It was a 3 year email relationship before I flew out to see Dr Levin May 13, 2002. After surgery he said I was "okay" . . . a bit mushy but okay. I began the TTC (trying to conceive) journey. Many negatives tests and a POAS (pee on a stick) obsession. We had a laparoscopic procedure that showed a problem with the right tube. We were going back to KY. In 2004 my husband and I traveled back to Louisville for TR number two (on the right tube). This one was more successful, no "mush" and longer tubes- heck they grew!
My husband and I went home and played again. After one miscarriage we found out August 09, 2004 that all that "playing" had worked! We were having a baby. To say that I was thrilled is a mild understatement. The pregnancy was great and posting that I had a BIG FAT POSITIVE on the reversal support group was so great! The pregnancy itself was great. very long and I was huge!
We found out we were having a BABY BOY! I was scared and thrilled. Jackson Paul was born via c-section on Thursday April 14th, 2005 at 7 lbs and 11 ounces. I cannot remember feeling such joy!
Dr. Levin is not just my doctor - he is a part of our family! I share both the good and bad with him, love and sadness, and he truly is a miracle worker! We count our blessings daily, with him and Venicia being part of the MIRACLE of Jackson.
Thank you Dr. Levin and all your staff for all you are and all you have done to make our families dreams come true.
