My reversal story begins in May of 98. I had my tubes cut, and burned when my youngest was almost three. I did this because the loser I was then with told me he would leave if I got pregnant. I got rid of him 5 months later. I regretted the tubal from day one!!! I had a series of bad relationships, and then I met my husband. We met at the gym that his family owned. Apparently he had been interested in me for a while but was too shy to approach me, finally he did and we fell in love. We were married in Eureka Springs on June 15th 2002. I knew immediately that I wanted a child with him. I had two girls who at that time were 7 and 11; he had a daughter that was 2.
I began looking for the right doctor. Finally I found Dr. Levin. I began to research him and his facility. They all checked out wonderfully. I scheduled my consult and talked to him. I knew from that conversation that he was the one, he was wonderful!!!!! He answered every question and when I briefly thought about using someone else because of my ignorance, he called me and told me why his way was better. I immediately decided that there would be no more changes, he was the doctor I was going to use. We sent our money in and scheduled my surgery for March 18th 2004.
When I met him and Venica I was instantly at ease. The hospital was great and the staff was wonderful. After surgery, we went back to our room and I slept. The next morning Dr. Levin and Venica came to our room and told me my tube lengths were 6.5 and 7. I was excited. They gave me some instructions and then we were off back to Arkansas.
I got pregnant my first cycle but it was a chemical pregnancy. Then I had to wait two months to try again. Another chemical pregnancy in September. Dr. Levin called me and we set up tests because I was so upset. Everything came back fine and then on December 12, 2004 I tested + again, this time it was a keeper. Dr. Levin ordered my blood work and the numbers kept rising. He was wonderful; he even emailed me from his trip out of the country when I started spotting.
This man is WONDERFUL!!!!! Throughout the pregnancy I would email him and update him and he always responded. Finally on August 13, 2005 at 11:58 A.M., Bridget McKinley-Ann Dennis was born. She weighed 8lbs and 9 oz and was 20 ½ inches long. She is beautiful. Her dad and I are so thankful that Dr. Levin is so wonderful and that he helped make our dream a reality. She is our miracle baby and we owe it to Dr. Levin..
