| Case Facts: On March 13, 1989 at the age of 24, Becky had a Pomeroy tubal ligation performed with 3.0 cm removed from one tube and 2.5 cm removed from the other tube. After being remarried, she decided to have Dr. Richard Levin perform a tubal ligation reversal which was done on 10/18/2001. As it turns out, Rebecca had a fimbriectomy done so a microsurgical salpingoneostomy was done with an ultimate tube length of 3.5 cm on the left and 4.0 cm on the right. Scott and I have known each other for years, since Kindergarten. We went through school together, graduated together, but never dated. In September 1990, we were both separated from our then spouses (Bad first marriages for both of us). I had 4 children ages 5 yrs, 4 yrs, 3 yrs and 1 yrs old. I had a tubal ligation the day after my youngest was born. His two children were 3 yrs and 1 yrs old also. A high school friend of ours had told me he was back around the area and pursuaded me to give him a call. We have been together ever since. We married in September 1994. In the summer of 2000, with all the kids in camp, we decided that we wanted to have a child together. I did some researching on the internet and found Dr Levin. I joined the tubal reversal support group and got alot of good information and support from the ladies on there. I had my phone consult with Dr Levin in August 2000. He was so easy to talk to. In October 2001 we had drove down to Kentucky, bringing along my youngest 3 children. My sister lives in nearby Radcliff so we combined my surgery with a visit to my sister and her husband. On October 18, 2001 I had the tubal reversal. I know Dr. Levin had a busy day that day, he had 4 tubal reversals that day. I was the last one for the day. The surgery went well and I was back at my sister's house that night. We met with Dr Levin at his office 3 days later. He said that my left tube had been cut very short when my doctor did the tubal ligation. The right tube was long enough, although right now I can't remember how long he said it was. In August 2002, I had a procedure to check if the tubes were open. The left was closed but the right was open, but not all the way. At that point I became alittle discouraged, but left it all in God's hands. I felt if we were meant to have a baby, it would happen. In November 2002, having signs of pregnancy, I did a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. I then got the blood test done and that confirmed that I was pregnant!!! My miracle baby, Trevor Jacob Mullen was born July 16th, 2003 at 1:03 am. He weighed 7lbs 12.3oz and was 20.5" long with lots of dark hair. He joins his brothers and sisters, Ryan 18, Brandon 17, Alyssa 16, Brandi 16, Scotty 14 and Devon 14. We all couldn't be prouder and happier to have him in our family. We owe this all to God and Dr Levin. He certainly does God's work by helping couples to have these miracle babies.
