Case Facts: Jane was 42 years of age when her reversal was performed by Dr. Levin. She was having regular cycles at the time of the surgery and was thought to have a normal gynecologic exam by her personal Gynecologist. However, at the time of her reversal, it was discovered that she had more than 2 dozen fibroid tumors of the uterus with a total pathologic weight of 460 grams. Dr. Levin spent 2 1/2 hours removing the fibroids prior to performing her reversal. The tube lengths after surgery were 3.5 cm on both sides. Jane conceived with her baby within 60 days of returning home to New Jersey and had an uneventful pregnancy. Jane is just one of many women Dr. Levin has successfully reversed in their 40's. | |
