| Case Facts: Marla came to me in 1999 for a tubal reversal at the age of 35 to be able to have a baby with her new husband. In 1991, Marla had a Pomeroy tubal ligation done with removal of 3.7 cm from on tube and 4.0 cm removed from the other tube. On 12/9/1999, Dr. Richard Levin performed a bilateral tubal ligation reversal on Marla under the operating microscope and she ended up with the right tube measuring 7 cm and the left tube measuring 5 cm. Marla forgot to get back to Dr. Levin as she was instructed to do at 6 months after the surgery if she failed to conceive on her own. Four years later in 2003, Marla finally went to see Dr. Levin and he initiated his "free stuff treatment plan" where he gives his reversal patients free care to enable them to conceive. Marla had an HSG (tubal X-ray), PCT (sex test to make sure the sperm is getting through), office visits, vaginal ultrasounds, fertility pill induction of ovulation and more . . . all for free. Hello, My name is Marla Peeler, and this is my story. In November 1994, I had married a man with no children. When he married me, I had 5 kids from a previous marriage; I was also 30 years old, with my tubes tied. However, I married a good man, and wanted so much to have been able to bear him a child. So, I went on a search on the Internet. I was searching for the right doctor, with high success rates. The one that stuck on me was Dr. Levin. So, after I made my decision, I began the process. Saving money, and the whole nine yards. When I finally was ready for the surgery of my reversal, it was four years later. It was December 1999. I was 35 years old by that time, and still determine to go through with it. I finally had the surgery; the surgery went well. So I went on trying to conceive. After unsuccessfully not conceiving for 4 years after the surgery, I went back to Dr. Levin to find out what the problem was. He had me doing the temp charts, and from those charts he found what the problem was; (not ovulating ie. passing eggs) In which, he had put me on clomid and progesterone. And four months after that, I conceived. I was due to get an IUI on that month; but, remarkably I had already been able to conceive, with the help of the clomid and progesterone, and the knowledge of a good doctor, in whom I recommend highly to any woman that is in need of a tubal reversal. Now that I have told my story; please view these beautiful pictures of my miracle baby; for if I had never found Dr. Levin, I would have never been able to have had the surgery, I would not be a whole woman again, and I would not have my beautiful little girl. Now, I am looking forward to my second reversal baby. By the way, I am 40 years old. And she is as healthy as can be.
