| Case Facts: Lynn had a tubal reversal by Dr. Levin on 4/27/2000. She was 30 years old at the time and had previously had a Hulka Clip sterilization. The doctor who did her surgery put 2 Hulka Clips on each tube and her tube length was 7 cm on each side. Lynn delivered her son, Ethan Lyvers on July 28, 2001. | |

Hello all! I had my tubal ligation in March of 1995. In June of that same year I met my future husband, Chris. I had one child from my previous marriage and Chris had no children. When we decided to get married in 1998 we knew that we wanted to have a child together. I desperately wanted to be able to give Chris a child of his own. Immediately after our wedding I called on Dr. Levin and made and appointment I originally went to see Dr. Levin in December of 1998. At that time my husband and I discussed our chances of success with Dr. Levin. From the type of tubal ligation I had Dr. Levin felt that we had a excellent chance of success. We left that appointment with a good feeling. On April 27, 2000 I finally had the tubal reversal. Dr. Levin and his staff were so very supportive and offered nothing but positive thoughts. I remember the last thing Venica said to me in the hospital, "Now go home and make babies". I was very hopeful that I'd get pregnant right away. I didn't, but Dr. Levin did not discourage me. He told me there were several different reasons that I might not be getting pregnant and he was going to check out each and every one of them until we found the problem. Dr. Levin never indicated to my husband or me that we were not going to be able to conceive. He always was positive and he kept us positive. After 8 months of trying to get pregnant we were finally successful in November of 2000. We were so excited, as was the staff at Dr. Levin's office. They all made us feel like they were as excited as we were. The dedication of Dr. Levin did not stop there. He helped me through the first few scary months of pregnancy. He watched my progress carefully to ensure that I had a healthy baby. I truly believe that each baby that is conceived because of Dr. Levin starts off with a burst of good will because of the doctor's caring attitude. He wants you to conceive as much as you want it yourself. On July 28, 2001 Chris and I, along with my daughter Meagan, welcomed Christopher Ethan into the world. It was the happiest day of our lives. Our son has brought us all so much joy in only 8 weeks. We can't remember a time we didn't have him. We owe it all to the skill and care of Dr. Richard Levin. I would recommend him to anyone having any type of fertility problem. My husband and I have every intention of trying to get pregnant again in about 2 years. If we aren't immediately successful you can bet your life that I will be calling on Dr. Levin once again. Lynn, Chris, and Ethan Lyvers
